Tek-Flux 1400B Insertion Electromagnetic Flowmeter is used to measure the flow rate of a variety of conductive liquids. It functions according to the fundamental principle of Faraday’s law of Electromagnetic Induction, which describes the relationship between an electrical conductor and the voltage it generates when moving within a magnetic field. In an Electromagnetic Flowmeter, a magnetic field is generated by a pair of diametrically placed electrical coils mounted external to the flow tube. As the conductive liquid passes through this Electromagnetic field, an electrical voltage is induced in the liquid, which is directly proportional to its velocity. This induced voltage is perpendicular to the directions of both the liquid flow and the electromagnetic field. A pair of diametrically placed electrodes mounted along the inner wall of the flow tube and in the direction of the induced voltage, sense this induced voltage. The sensed voltage is further processed by the Transmitter to indicate the flow rate and generate a standard output signal proportional to the measured flow rate.

Tek-Bar 3120C Tri-Clamp Gauge Pressure Transmitter uses the world’s advance silicon pressure sensor technology and state of the art encapsulation technology. This is a high performance pressure transmitter with HART communication protocol and is used to measure gauge pressure. It is used to measure liquid, gas, or steam flow as well as liquid level and density of medium. It has a high accuracy of up to 0.2% of URL and has IP66 water-proof protection. The Tri-Clamp Gauge Pressure Transmitter works on the principle of mono silicon technology. The pressure sensor of the transmitter is located on the top of the metal body, away from the service fluid. This enables mechanical and thermal isolation of the sensor from the fluid in service. When pressure is applied on the diaphragm and the silicon piezoelectric sensor, they become stressed and under go a change in voltage resistance. This change in resistance is directly proportional to the applied pressure, which is transferred to the transmitter body using lead wires.

High frequency microwave pulses travels along the detecting component (steel rope or rod) and reflects when reaching the product surface. The time from emission to reception is proportional to the distance between the surface and the reference plane on the instrument.

The Tek-Sound 4200B Two Wire Ultrasonic Level Transmitter With Display utilizes enhanced ultrasonic technology to measure liquid level in various applications with superior accuracy and reliability. Ultrasonic pulses generated by the transducer (antenna) system travel at the speed of sound toward the target medium. These pulses are reflected by the surface of the medium and received by the transducer system again. Due to the fact that the measurable time lapse between pulse emission and reception by antenna is proportional to the distance between antenna and highest level of target medium, the principle of ultrasonic level instrument can be illustrated as the following equation: S = C x T/2, S: distance, C: velocity of sound, T: time lapse.
